The very nature of our location and our year round winds make South Padre Island one of the best areas to kiteboard in the US. You can almost always find wind in one of the local spots. The best seasons for consistant winds are spring and fall.
On The Beach does not carry Kiteboard equipment but we do carry most accessories including:
- Surfboards (for the advanced surf/downwinder kiter)
- Wetsuits and Lycra from O'Neill, Quiksilver and Billabong
- Booties from O'Neill and Quiksilver (the Flats and Holly Beach do have Oyster shells)
- Sunscreen and Aftersun Products
- DVD's
